3rd Annual Charity Classic – Anthem Community Day for Charity

The Charity Classic is an event held by all ClubCorp Clubs around the world. Anthem Golf & Country Club is proud to participate for the third consecutive year in this event, and we will be opening our doors to anyone in the Anthem and Greater Phoenix area to participate in the “Anthem Community Day for Charity”.

The charity event at Anthem Golf & Country Club will include a Golf Event, Tennis Tournament, an upscale Memphis BBQ Dinner and a Live Concert on the Lawn by “The Hamptons” band. Come by yourself or bring the whole family!

Last year, our Club alone raised over $43,000 for Charity. This year, our local Charity of choice will be the Public Schools in Anthem including Anthem Elementary, Gavilan Peak Elementary, Diamond Canyon Elementary, Canyon Springs Elementary, and Bolder Creek High School.

Tennis Tournament - Men’s and Women’s Doubles
Tennis Tournament is a round robin format with 5 matches. Limited to 18 Men’s & 18 Women’s Doubles Teams. Entry includes the two day event and a ticket to the Memphis BBQ Dinner and Live Concert on the Lawn.
Time:
Women’s Registration at 8:30am / Women’s Matches from 9am to 12:30pm
Men’s Registration at 12:00 noon / Men’s Matches from 12:30 – 4:00pm
Entry to watch the tennis tournament is complimentary. Food stands will be available during the event for purchase. Donations will be accepted.

Scramble format. Entry to the event will include a ticket to the Memphis BBQ Dinner and Live Concert on the Lawn.

Memphis BBQ Dinner, Silent Auction & Live Concert on the Lawn
5:00 pm – 7:00pm – Silent Auction
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm – Memphis Style BBQ
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Live Concert on the Persimmon Lawn

Tickets may be purchased for the BBQ and Concert. The Dinner will be an upscale Memphis style BBQ. The Concert will feature “The Hamptons” band, which is a local Anthem group and one of the top performing bands in Arizona! Bring your blanket and hang out for a great night of music on the lawn! There will also be a Silent Auction taking place offering great items including sports memorabilia, golf vacations and more!

Cost of Individual Activities:
$100/per person – Includes Golf Tournament, Memphis BBQ Dinner and Live Concert on the Lawn
$50/per person – Includes Tennis Tournament Entry, Memphis BBQ Dinner and Live Concert on the Lawn
$25/per person – Memphis BBQ Dinner and Live Concert on the Lawn
$10/per child ages 5 - 17 (4 & Under are FREE) – Memphis BBQ Dinner and Live Concert on the Lawn
